Google Pixel 4a with 5G and Google Pixel 5
Google has announced Google Pixel 4a 5G a successor to Google Pixel 4a released this year on August 3rd, 2020 and Google Pixel 5, both of which were the main highlight of the event. The devices have the 5G connectivity option in common, which is something the lacked in the devices announced and launched in august this year. The most important thing to consider her is that both of these phones are not eligible and neither did the Google call the Pixel 5 it a Flagship smart phone. The reason is that the specifications packed on the Pixel 5 are not at all Flagship level and obviously Google Pixel 4a 5G is just a 5G variant of the cheaper Pixel 4a, the cheaper version of Pixel 4.
First we will talk about the Google Pixel 4a 5g. It has the same specifications as Pixel 4a. The 5G Connectivity option is additional to it. Which is why it costs more than its predecessor; Pixel 4a.
The model has Dual Camera Setup with Ultra wide angle. The camera Setup has 12 MP wide Angle and 16 MP Ultra-Wide angle Cameras. The front-facing camera is 8 MP. It has a 6.2 inch OLED screen with refresh rate @ 90 Hz. It comes with latest android OS the Android 11. It has an octa-core processor. It has Snapdragon 765 chipset. It also has 6 GB RAM Memory and 128 GB Storage. It is priced at $499. The price is reasonable and is better than the previous 4a model due to 5G connectivity.
Google Pixel 5
The Google Pixel 5 also has a same Dual Camera Setup with 16 MP Ultra-wide and 12.2 MP Wide Angle Camera. The device is so-called “First 5g Google Flagship Phone”. It has 6 inch OLED Screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and refresh rate @ 80 Hz. It has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB Storage. It has Snapdragon 765 chipset. It is priced at $699. It also has a quad core processor
Google has introduced very decent cool and practical products in the event and it has outplayed itself in upgrading Chromecast and, Google Home to Nest Audio. The Google TV services and bundles are the best and can be more popular in future. The Google Pixel 4a 5G has a potential to be Google’s best smartphone this year. Google didn’t do well on its “Flagship” Smartphone Pixel 5. The quality and the performance of processor was downgraded from previous flagship smartphones. Google Pixel reduced in screen size has no expandable storage options has one size variant has only 2 camera lens system. It is better to buy Google Pixel 4a 5G than to spend a $200 more on a smartphone that has the same performance as a mid-range phone. Google could have done better on Pixel 5.
